Lululemon enters the segment of women’s footwear. The first launch is planned for this month, followed by a menswear collection planned for next year, which will be accompanied by special editions and seasonal collections. During an event in New York, the Canadian sports brand launched its first women’s footwear model, blissfeel, available online and in select stores in North America, mainland China and the UK starting March 22. Three other novelties were presented during the event, chargefeel, strongfeel and restfeel, which will implement the collection in the coming months.

Each model has been designed for different occasions of use and designed in different materials, constructions and colors. Blissfeel is a running shoe with an upper designed to promote movement and a sole available in ten shades. Chargefeel is a cross-training shoe designed for gym training and sprints, with a dual-density midsole and upper that provides midfoot support. Restfeel, on the other hand, is suitable for post-workout. Finally, strongfeel, is proposed as a training shoe with a multidirectional support midsole.

“The shoe is the natural next step in expanding and applying our long history of innovation in fit, feel and performance, and represents an exciting time for our brand,” said the Lululemon CEO. calvin mcdonald. “We are entering footwear following the same strategy with which we built our apparel business, developing products to meet unmet needs, made primarily for women,” added the manager.
